Cash for Clunkers part 2   Tuesday, August 4, 2009 - JSpawn
This is an update to the disclamer that Car Dealers must accept in order to process their Cash For Clunkers transaction.

Here is the full wording of the disclaimer
"This application provides access to the DOT CARS system. When logged on to the CARS system, your computer is considered a federal computer system and is property of the United States government... users have no explicit or implicit expectation of privacy."
"Any or all uses of this system and all files on this system may be intercepted, monitored, recorded, copied, audited, inspected and disclosed to authorized CARS, DOT and law enforcement personnel, as well as authorized officials of other agencies, both domestic and foreign."
"By using this system, the user consents to such interception, monitoring, recording, copying, auditing, inspection, and disclosure at the discretion CARS or the DOT personnel."

The update is that many people are calling this a BIG CONSPIRACT THEORY.
Well if this is no big thing, and just a "Conspiracy Theory", then why did the Government remove it today.

DO NOT GO TO THE CARS FOR CLUNKERS WEBSITE
This is some more scary shit, brought to you by your friendly Governmet

If you have logged on to the Cars For Clunkers Web site, and you agreed to the Privacy act & Security Statement, your computer and everything on your computer is now the property of the US Government .
This is mainly for Car Dealers, but it is still wrong for the government to basically force a dealer to waive their 4th amendment right against unreasonable searches and seizures.
